hope everyones getting on well. on monday i sat in on a review of a patient. On tuesday we took a group to crazy golf and then went to ansthruther for some fish n chips (Scotlandlands best fish n chips). Today, i spent the day with another student ot and took a patient grocery shopping and then we went for coffee. Doing a nurses shift tomorow so that should help me to get to know the patients. Going to have 4 on my caseload.

Hi Emma,
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you're having a varied and busy introduction to the service. At the end of this first week, it will be useful to reflect on your initial impressions of OT services and your role as an OT within them. Working along side the nurses wil hopefully have given you a broad insight into the service and differing roles. Continue to use the blog to share resources and information.
Enjoy the weekend.
